| 1 cup boiled basmati rice |
| 1 medium size pepper |
| 1 medium size onion |
| 1 tbsp cumin seeds |
| 1 tbsp cooking oil |
| ¾ tsp chilli powder |
| Salt to taste |

| Heat the oil in a heavy-bottomed vessel and add the cumin seeds. |
| When the seeds start to pop, add the onions and fry until it becomes transparent. |
| Add the peppers, salt to taste and fry another 2 to 4 minutes on high heat. |
| Add the cooked rice to the vegetables and mix well. |
| Add the chilli powder and salt to taste and mix well. |
| Serve hot |
